The Pandas at Edinburgh zoo are not the rare Chinese bear like animals after all. Suspicion grew when it was noticed the two pandas who were sharing a meal of bamboo shoots, were both using chopsticks.
When the Pandas were asked to remove their heads, it was revealed they were a Chinese couple, Hi Pan and Low Pan, whose family trained them from an early age to survive on bamboo and imitate the mannerisms of a Panda.
When quizzed about how many other illegal immigrants might be impersonating zoo inmates, the zoo director voiced concern about the meerkats. Because he explained they ignore the public and always seem to be preoccupied with their Ipads.
