The Mike and Bernie Winters Show has re-appeared in the U.K. with devastating consequences. Severe warnings are in place for Scotland, Northern Ireland and much of the north of England, after nearly 48 hours of repeats were shown on TV screens.
In Scotland, motorists were held up for three hours after people were injured trying to flee from Mike and Bernie Winters Tribute Shows.
The BBC is not predicting that the show will be as bad as last year's - which was the worst for 20 years. But they have warned viewers to stay outside. "If you have to stay in, make sure you cover your TV screens with heavy-duty lagging."
TV forecasters admitted they didn't see this show coming. "We thought there'd be more 'Singing in the Rain'." And programme schedulers are really having to grit their teeth.
Many people are already stocking up with DVDs of Cliff Richard's 'Summer Holiday'.
