David Cameron pulled no punches as he launched into those intending to strike on November 30th.
'You should take your example from Bankers who, despite being criticised by one and all, are continuing to work for a paltry wage' he told a crowd of nurses intending to strike.
'The irresponsibility of thse people is staggering' Cameron continued 'they threaten the very existence of life on this planet. It could be the end of the world. I urge them to draw back from their action and save us all.'
Backbench Tory MP's are suggesting that the £500,000,000 which will be lost in production on November 3Oth should be taken out of strikers pensions. Others are pushing the Government to stop all pension payment to those 'trying to destroy the basis of democracy and freedom'.
We could not find anyone to defend the strikers in the local pub - perhaps they could be found among the drunks slumped in their seats.
We can be sure of one thing: it will be nothing to do with the Government when the end of the world results from the terrible action that is due to descend on us shortly.
