Magic FM Dj Neil "Foxy" Fox has been forced to resign from his job as Defence Secretary today amid allegations about his inappropriate relationship with friend and advisor Verity Adam. Prime Minister David Cameroon acted quickly to appoint a replacement for the former Edinburgh GP. He will be replaced by Top Gear Presenter Richard "The Hamster" Hammond.
The former Top Gear presenter said:
"I'm really excited by this new challenge. Taking over the Breakfast show is up there with the time Jeremy, James and I decided to drive across the Gobi Desert in a Reliant Robin, or maybe the time we got a former member of the Mujahideen to blow up a caravan park with a rocket launcher. I can't wait to get started!"
Mr Hammond explained that he did not feel daunted about taking over such a high profile position and wasn't worried about comparisons to his predecessor.
Mr Hammond said:"To be honest, I didn't know him from Adam" before adding "The Fox is dead! Long Live the Hamster!"
