World Number 4 Andy Murray has been playing so much better at the French Open with his injured ankle that he is set to deliberately hurt the other one before he takes the court for his quarter final clash against Juan Ignacio Chelo this afternoon.
The Scot takes on the unseeded Argentinian in his campaign to reach his first semi final at Roland Garros and tests have revealed that he has been playing with a ligament tear in his right ankle, but the injury hasn't prevented him from keeping his dream alive of gaining his first Grand Slam title.
This morning Murray will deliberately go over his left ankle and then take take the court limping as he feels that his injury has focussed all his attentions on making the ball doing the work instead of his usual "running about the court like a daftie".
Experts remain skeptical.
