Surfers from all over the globe made their way this week to the South West of England for an annual pilgrimage.
Every year the top boarders in the sport head to Bristol to be entertained by Richard Beadon, the man voted Most Boring Man in Avon and Somerset.
Sergio Laus, world number one distance surfer, explained :
"Many people regard Richard as a boring person.
Me and the guys totally disagree, we think he's great to listen to.
Every year, he's got another interesting story about the Bristol Old Vic or the 18th century poet Thomas Chatterton. We think he's a rip.
And coming here gives us an excuse to ride the surge wave through Gloucester as well.
Its a no brainer".
