Italian striker Mario Balotelli has boldly claimed he should be made Manchester City's new captain. With current captain Carlos Tevez looking for an escape route out of Eastlands the Bad Boy feels he's the man to lead City to glory - until June that is.
Carlos Tevez sensationally handed a transfer request in Sunday last just as City had reached the top of the league. Then again considering he has the brain of a 9 year old nothing surprises you.
With Tevez's future as captain in serious doubt, Balotelli has come forward as an unlikely candidate to replace Tevez, despite having possibly the worst attitude in world football.
Balotelli stated: "I'm going to be here up until June so that makes me a great candidate.
"I can't believe someone whose as obsessed with money as much as Tevez would hand in a transfer request in January. Everyone knows you do that during the summer because you can get more money that way.
"That's what I'll be doing in th..actually who knows what the future holds"
Balomoney, as he refers to himself in his recent rap debut, has also dismissed claims Tevez wants to leave because of chief executive Gary Cook.
"What? I don't give a fuck who runs the club as long as that sweet oil money keeps rolling into my account on a weekly basis.
"I'd play for the Ku Klux Klan if the money was right".
