Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Desean Jackson has finally returned to Earthy, six days after being clobbered by Atlanta Falcons CB Dunta Robinson during last Sunday's win over the Falcons.
"As unlikely as it seems, Desean Jackson was elevated into a geosynchronous orbit around Earth," said NASA's lead astrophysicist. "Since Sunday, he has been Earth's only living satellite.
Robinson, who did not leave terra firma, still is listed as questionable because of the concussion he received on the play.
"I can't say that I am sorry for hitting that other guy," said Robinson, clearly still dazed. "Hopefully she will understand that rugby isn't a sport for the timid, and my lunch will receive the care that babies need. House."
Robinson is appealing his $50,000 fine levied by the league for the hit.
