DALLAS - The Dallas Cowboys, who have been picked by many of the nation's sportswriters to win this years Super Bowl, have fallen to a record of 1-3, after losing in Cowboy Stadium to the Tennessee Titans 34-27.
In the past Cowboys' owner Jerry Jones has blamed the girlfriends of some of his players for the teams losses. Two years ago he told the media that the reason the Cowboys were losing games was because of quarterback Tony Romo's girlfriend Jessica Simpson.
Jones stated in no uncertain terms that Ms. Simpson was a big bosomed celebrity jinx.
This year after the Cowboys fell to an 0-2 record he blamed Dallas receiver Miles Austin's girlfriend Kim Kardashian whom he said was a jinx with a well-endowed butt.
Jones was instrumental in getting both Romo and Austin to dump their celebrity bedmates and replace them with nice, wholesome, non-celebrity Texas girls.
So now, after their third loss in four games Jones was asked by several newspaper reporters who he plans to blame this time for their loss.
Jones sat in his multi-million dollar office and cracked his knuckles. He took a sip of his Lone Star Beer Longneck and looked out the window. He turned around and pointed to a photo sitting on his $85,000 imported Norwegian wood desk.
He stood up and said that he had no choice but to blame his wife Gene.
Jones said that since none of his players are dating any celebrities the only possible choice for his teams loss has got to be his wife, whom he said is always watching reality shows featuring celebrities such as Dancing With The Stars and reruns of last year's Celebrity Apprentice.
In other news. Sarah Palin has denied a rumor that is floating around the country that she is planning on playing the song 'Lady of Spain' on the accordion in a cameo role of an upcoming episode of CSI: Miami.
