As LeBron James explained to the world this past week ,"It's all just about business," thousands of Clevelanders rushed to the tanker trucks filled with Kool-Aide to end it all. Fans flocked to the streets renting their garments and tearing at their hair.
One fan commented, "Just about business! Just about business! What about our lives?! What about our hopes?! What about our joy? What about the lives of our children and their children! I hope he takes his pieces of silver and goes and hangs himself."
Ex-Clevelanders in the tens of thousands were just as distraught as those that still live in the city. "This is it," said a Cav's fan living in California. I will never go back there again! Never! Never! Never!" I am a Cav's fan, tried and true.
The fan was asked by a reporter, "How long has it been since you've been to Cleveland?"
"Twenty years."
"Why is that?"
"Couldn't wait to get out of that shit-hole!
