In lower Manhattan, on their day off from the manly, sweaty, testosterone filled game of baseball, Derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez were spotted by fans at a high class café.
"I could see them through the large glass pane," said self-proclaimed New York Yankee fan Kyle Queen. "They looked so good with each other, I wanted to go in to get an autograph on their trading cards that I always keep with me, but the bouncer wouldn't let me in. It was very disappointing."
The two Yankee All-Stars attracted a large crowd of onlookers who began to spread into the street, causing a temporary traffic jam.
"It was so cute," said Janice King, another self-proclaimed Yankee fan. "Alex was sucking his Mocha like through a strawah, and Jetah was swallowin' a sip of his cappuccino. It was like they was in deep thought or sump thin' like about the upcoming game. You know?"
