Philadelphia - (Balls To That!): "Ain't no Craigslist hooker!" is how 'gorgeous, tall, buxom, blonde, diehard Phillies fan' Susan Finkelstein put it to an undercover cop last week.
The 43 year-old Philadelphia Phillies fan has been charged with soliciting to procure tickets for the game in which her side beat the New York Yankees 6-1.
Speaking to the press her lawyer said today Mrs Finkelstein would be mounting a UK Rugby League defence at a preliminary hearing in December.
"Our client merely took the traditional position of the Hooker, Rugby League's classic Number 9 position," Morty Schmacksballsen commented, "and not some seedy '69' as has been implied!"
Also called the Dummy Half, the Hooker is a forward 'who packs a punch in the middle of the scrum's front row'.
This work-horse in defence is also referred to as the Dummy Half of the sporting partnership - something that Mrs Finkelstein's husband no doubt agrees is an apt description.
Phillies Fever is still raging unabated.
