Skinner Poses with a picture of Favre

Eden Prairie - Minnesota Vikings believe they have found an answer to their quarterback woes by signing America's Got Talent singing sensation Kevin Skinner.

Skinner who bears an uncanny resemblance to Brett Favre claims to have never thrown a football however Vikings coach Brad Childress reckons he can translate Skinner's natural athletic ability as a chicken catcher to major league football.

"I must confess I had my doubts whether or not a chicken catcher from Kentucky could make it in this league as a starting quarterback but he was so genuine it just tugged at my heart."

"He said it meant so much to him and when he put on that helmet and shed a tear you could tell we had the ability to turn this young man's life around."

"We put him in a Brett Favre jersey we had made up when we were negotiating with the former Packer quarterback and dang if he didn't look the spittin image of Brett."

"The fans are happy with the signing and we got him to play a whole season for a five pound bag of sunflower seeds."

"If he doesn't work out as quarterback we'll try him out as a defensive half. He can snag up to seven footballs at time."

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
