The final match of the season at Playwell Park between Skullface United and Brokeback Rovers in the local Sunday League predictably ended in trouble.
Brokeback winger, Alan Spanner, who arrived at the game with a bad hangover was sidelined chucking his guts up after ten minutes.
Skullface goalkeeper, Big Barry Bigfoot caught the referee's attention as he waddled across the pitch with half time approaching and bought a cheeseburger from a van, which resulted in a stern talking to from the referee and a vociferous rebuke from his captain.
Skullface midfielder Gerry Mandering then upset the linesman by lighting and sucking on a cigarette and swearing at a female spectator.
Brokeback substitute Alfonse Bong scored the only goal of the game after the ball bounced off the back of his head while he wasn't paying attention at a corner and rolled gently past Big Barry Bigfoot as he was finishing off his cheeseburger.
Skullface defender, Anton Deck was sent off in the 88th minute for opening and drinking from a can of Special Brew on the edge of the penalty box.
As the referee blew for full time, two players were injured in the rush to get into The Strangler's Arms pub.
Nobody was arrested.
More Sunday League related silliness as it comes in.
