A prestigious cricket club has announced plans to legalise stoning in Britain's schools. There have been previous attempts to get such a law passed, but protests by children who had been hit on the head by a cricket ball prevented the passing of the law.
The club is now taking action in a bid to toughen up the nation's youngsters. "Look at Australia. Their kids are not wrapped in cotton wool like ours. We've got to take action in order to change our future. If we don't we will have a nation of losers. The only thing we will be good at is playing in the sand pit." said club chairman.
Opponents of this plan have spoken out. S.K. Oob said "Cricket is legalised stoning. That ball is really hard. " Oob suffered a childhood cricket accident which has affected his powers of reason.
More to follow, for the whole summer.
