Everyone knows David Beckham for being a brilliant soccer player, but Becks isn't always living up to his superstar image when off the field. His wife Victoria can't be too pleased at his antics as of late. But is it his feminine touch that makes the star-studded player a surefire hit with the ladies?
In recent years Beckham has knowingly posed for the cover of English gay magazine Attitude, and is looked up to and respected by many in the homosexual community. "Being a gay icon is great honour for me." He is known for wearing his wife's underwear and nail polish and frequently signs up for lucrative advertising deals with fashion magazines, clothing designers, perfumes and cosmetic manufacturers.
It seems that everyone wants a piece of Becks, with allegations of an affair with his personal assistant in 2004 and with 29-year old Australian model Sarah Marbeck. Being in touch with your feminine side is becoming more attractive and Beckham is loving it. "I've got my mum's personality- she's soft and affectionate. We both get really emotional." As for Victoria, I think she would rather her husband get emotional about his sport for once rather than his image.
