Andy "Freddie" Flintoff today made a quiet return to cricket in the heat of India. Several short bowling spells followed by a promising knock of 17 not out were just what was needed for the England superstar.
"It was going great out there for me and it was a shame that the tide came in and covered the pitch, " said Freddie from the beach resort of Goa. "The pitch didn't have much life in it and I think the tennis ball had been tampered with, but it was nice to be playing again."
Flintoff then grabbed a beer and launched himself onto a pedalo.
