New York, New York (IP) - Manager Joe Torres turned down an offer from the Yankees to work for another year.
The offer would have allowed him to sell hot dogs and drinks in the stands during the baseball games. It would have given him the chance to sell one million hot dogs over a year's time and he would get one dollar for each hot dog and drink sold.
Joe told the Yankees, "forget about it" and is going into politics. He will run for New York mayor and if he can't get that job he would like to be a janitor or greeter at a Walmart.
