Micheal Vick's dogs were seized by the federal authorities after a raid on his home. Now, those 53 dogs face euthanization if no one tries to adopt them.
Vick, the quarterback of the NFL Atlanta Falcons and former college player at Virginia Tech, has agreed to plead guilty to multiple federal charges stemming from dog fighting and cruelty to animals.
When told that the 53 animals faced death, Vick was responsive and tried to be helpful. "If'n youse wants, I shows youse how I tries to kills 'em. 53 be lots o'dogs, but I gots me some baseball bats in da house an you kin also drowns 'em or feeds 'em some poison stuffs."
Vick offered to go to the shelter and assist in killing the dogs himself, but his request to help was declined.
