NBA Commissioner Adam Silver has decided that enough is enough. He is referring to the nasty habit of players spitting on the basketball court during games.
Silver told the sports media that spitting on the court was not only dirty, disgusting, repulsive, and nauseating, but it was also dangerous, as several players have slipped on the gobs of human spit.
A point guard for the Minnesota Timberwolves had to be put on a stretcher and wheeled off the court, after he slipped on some spit and injured his clavicle, his left fat toe, his right femur, and his tongue.
SIDENOTE: Silver said that a player who spits on the court during a game will be immediately ejected and fined $60,000.
