image for Fred Wilpon Addresses Media
New York Mets Majority Owner Fred Wilpon discusses the Mets' recent woes.

New York Mets Majority Owner Fred Wilpon talked to the media following another Mets loss, the most recent being an 8-7 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers.

"Just because our talent is lacking due to injuries doesn't mean that it's time to panic," a defensive Fred Wilpon chirped. "Two Broke Girls" aired on CBS for years, and that show had NO talent."

The Mets have no plans on making changes any time soon. When asked if the Mets plan on discounting prices on tickets should the Mets continue to fall, he replied, "When Hell freezes over!" Which will be around the time the Mets win another World Series.

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
