New York, NY Groundskeepers at Yankee Stadium were preparing the stadium for baseball's Opening Day when they reported seeing the ghost of long-time Yankee catcher and manager Yogi Berra over the home dugout.
The groundskeepers said that when they asked Mr. Berra, who died on September 22, 2016, what he was doing there, he replied, "You can observe a lot by just watching."
When asked why he wasn't in heaven, Yogi said, "Nobody goes there anymore because it's too crowded."
About the afterlife, he said, "The future ain't what it used to be."
When he was asked about advice for the future, Yogi said, "When you come to a fork in the road, take it." He added, "If you don't know where you're going, you might end up some place else."
The groundskeepers were mad when the apparition refused to give them lottery numbers.
