In a brief statement the England team doctor said that the players had suffered break downs when their stiff upper lips prolapsed resulting in grins of joy.
The condition, not seen in English sport for thirty seven years is not said to be serious and there are no lasting side effects. The players will be back to normal after a dose of winter training.
