NEW YORK CITY - Carmelo Anthony scored 19 points as the New York Knicks snapped a 9 game losing streak by clobbering the Brooklyn Nets 113-83.
Knicks fan Spike Lee was so happy he spilled his cup of Aye Caramba Beer on the court. As two of the arena employees were mopping up the mess he handed each one a $10 tip.
Both teams still have losing records as the Nets possess a 5-14 record and the Knicks record stands at 4-13.
Some of the (beer) happy Knicks fans were so excited at seeing the end to the 9-game losing streak that they started shouting out "Super Bowl! Super Bowl! Super Bowl?"
An arena usher went up to them and told them to stop acting like a bunch of fans from Philadelphia.
He also reminded them that they were at an NBA basketball game and not at an NFL football game.
SIDENOTE: After the game the entire Knicks team including the coaches went over to Spike Lee's house for an after-the-game snack.
