SAN ANTONIO - The San Antonio Spurs are showing that they are ready to go back to the NBA finals and tangle with the Miami Heat once again.

Coach Gregg Popovich's silver and black team defeated the Utah Jazz by a score of 92-81.

Tim Duncan and the Spurs are now at the very top of the Western Conference and possess the second best record in the entire NBA behind the 9-0 Indiana Pacers.

Spurs guard Manu Ginobili says that the team is still a little upset at having lost in last season's championship finals to LeBron James and the Heat.

Ginobili says that he is having lots of fun getting to talk Italian with new Spurs player Marco Belinelli who came over from the Windy City Bulls.

Manu said that they talk a lot about the different Italian wines.

Meanwhile, not to be outdone, Tony Parker and Boris Diaw communicate on the court in French and Tony said that their conversations revolve around French food.

Coach Popovich says that with players from 9 different countries the Spurs are truly a United Nations team.

Pop said that at times he forgets that he is in the United States of America and he starts looking around for an interpreter.

The Spurs coach noted that he recently talked with Peter Holt who is the owner of the Spurs and he told him that next year he is going to audition two dozen cheerleaders from other countries.

Holt said that the Dallas Cowboys might be America's Team, but he wants for the San Antonio Spurs to be the World's Team.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
