The Seattle Seahawks gave Barth McGillifaust two game balls last year

ATLANTA - The Seahawks of Seattle marched into Atlanta and when all had been said and done in The Georgia Dome they had soundly defeated the Falcons 33-10.

The Seahawks have now improved their record to an astounding 9-1. Several devoted Seahawks fans had actually made the 2,181 mile trip to Atlanta from Seattle.

One long time Seahawks fan Barth McGillifaust, 73, said that his wife of 50 years Millicent told him that the team is winning because he is their good luck charm.

Mrs. McGillifaust told a reporter with The Turnstile Review that her husband has attended over 200 Seahawks games and they have won everyone.

Several of the Seattle players say that they truly believe that McGillifaust brings them good luck and two of them, Max Unger (#60) and Ricardo Lockette (#83) rub his bald head for luck for a few moments before each game that he attends.

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
