NEW YORK CITY - World champion tennis player Maria Sharapova, 26, spoke with Sports Balls Illustrated Daily and addressed a rumor that is currently making the rounds.
The grunting tennis player stated that she has no idea where the false rumor about her dating NASCAR racer Danica Patrick's ex-husband, Dr. Paul Hospenthal originated but she is very upset.
The 6-foot-2-inch Russian native pointed out that she feels that it is starting to affect her tennis serve and even her world famous tennis grunt, which she says has now become somewhat pitchy.
Meanwhile she reveals that she has hired the highly reputable private investigating firm of Twitchfitz & Toggendutch of Sherman Oaks, California and asked that they get to the bottom of this vicious rumor.
Maria said that she has never seen Dr. Hospenthal and could not pick him out of a police lineup if she had to.
In Other News. Word coming out of Tinsel Town is that Gary Busey has called the Food Network and asked them that he would be willing to take over fired cooking hostess Paula Deen's time slot with a celebrity game show that he has created called, Okay, So Who's Doing What Drugs and Stuff?
