Tens of thousands of England football fans last night snubbed the warm up friendly match against Norway, preferring instead to watch Engelbert in Eurovision.
It's been 46 years since England won anything worthwhile, and despite the appointment of 'Super' Roy Hodgson, it looks like being another 46 years before they'll win anything worthwhile again.
At least.
"England are crap," one former fan said. "I'm not even watching it. Not even if Ashley Young scores early doors. It's always such a let down. I'll be watching Eurovision instead. You know where you stand with Engelbert. I can't see us having a 'Puppet On A String' moment, to be honest, but Engelbert has more chance of winning than England do. I mean, playing Andy Carroll? That's a bit like asking Cheryl Cole to do Eurovision without miming. Flogging a dead horse I call it."
More as we get it.
