and he wasn't even in the stadium!

Sir Alex Ferguson, alias Merlin the Magician (and he aint no Micky Mouse), has confounded his critics once again. He waved his magic wand over Old Trafford last night and up popped Pogba (no not Drogba). How he does it only he will ever know!

He proved to the United faithful once more that he doesn't have to pay 28 million for 28 year old established, injury prone super-stars. He's got enough super-youngsters in the wings and they only cost him peanuts.

Pogba lit up "The theatre of dreams" last night proving SAF right once again; it's just a matter of patience. Alongside golden oldie, Scholsey (who looks like a 19 year-old super-star himself) Pogba, Cleverley and others will fit into the scheme of things at United and prove their ex-scouser critics (who?) wrong.

After being dumped out of all cups the critics rained in on SAF, but being the stiff old leather head that he is, he just brushed them aside and told them in his best Glaswegian tongue too "f++k off, you've no idea about the ins and outs of United and as long as I'm here, we'll do it My Way!" (he just happens to be a Frank Sinatra fan too) It aint over till the fat lady sings and SAF is gradually proving that point, ask squeeky bum bottler Mancini.

Merlin the Magician is so sly, maybe he actually wanted to be dumped out of the Chumpions league because they would never have won it this year anyway, Barcelona and Madrid are much too strong. So why waste the energy on a fruitless campaign? Retreat, gather your troops and conquer Europe next year, who knows? Only Fergie!

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
