It isn't often scientists come out with a statement that astounds the World but today in Luxembourg at the 'Annual Astounding Things We Have In Life Awards' it was acknowledged that sliced bread is the best invention since unsliced.
Food specialist Keith Flour-Cake, a bread scientist explained,
'People always ask me, what was the best thing before sliced bread, and with a smile I would always say, Unsliced of course.I was being slightly sarcastic, but it's true. After all, it is the same bloody loaf!'

'Loaves Are Us' agreed with Keith and added, 'It wasn't until Keith asked me what was the best thing before sliced bread that I began to wonder myself.We are really well known in the loaf world and all we've done is slice some bread and make a fortune. It's obscene really but you'd have it wouldn't you? We often joke at family banquets that if Keith was a bit more savvy he'd probably sue us because it's his idea, but he's a boffin and hasn't got a clue about marketing and being rich.'
The final word went to Keith who said, 'I love Bread me.'
