All merry heck has broken loose in the Schrödinger household since Mrs Schrödinger was caught on CCTV putting a cat in a box, allegedly in an attempt to shut her husband up.
'Oh he wouldn't stop banging on about it' stated a clearly irate Mrs Schrödinger 'He's been all Einstein this and Podolsky that. He's driving me mad, I tell you.'
Mrs Schrödinger assumed she would be helping her husband. But apparently he was unhappy with her interference, the irony being that it was his idea in the first place.
"Put a cat in a box" he says "Illustrate the putative incompleteness of quantum mechanics" he says.' Continued the theoretical physicists wife.
But it was at this point that Mrs Schrödinger took her husbands thought experiment to its literal extreme.
'I didn't care which cat either. I had quite a few to choose from, but they are only mere cats and I don't have time to stand around all day comparing them just to prove or disprove a philosophical question of quantum mechanics applied to everyday objects.'
It was this action that is now the focus of a vitriolic campaign on Facebook with postings calling for her death, describing her as "evil" and "a psycho" and demanding she release the cat from the wheelie bin.
Mrs Schrödinger countered by stating 'My husband, old clever clogs 'ere, says that the only way to keep it alive, is to keep the lid on, apparently, if I open the wheelie bin, the cat will die. Is that what you want? Cos thas what'll 'appen!'
