The Apple i-Pad, launched in May, is arguably the most coveted gadget today. Even with a starting price of £429, over 600,000 units are expected to have been sold by the end of this year.
The tablet-sized computer sold out in the UK within hours of it's launch and even at prices of up to £699 for Wi-Fi enabled models, demand continues to be high.
However, a recent survey has suggested that i-Pad users may not be 'nice' people.
Tim Koelkebeck of 'MyType', which carried out the survey, said that i-Pad users are six times more likely to be wealthy, well-educated, power-hungry, over-achieving, sophisticated, unkind and non-altruistic. Pausing only to brush away the over-sized chip on his shoulder he concluded, 'They're basically the type of person who would not piss on you if you were on fire.'
In another survey carried out by 'MyType' the users of the popular Sony Playstation, were said to be six times more likely to be moronic, mindless teenagers or irresponsible twenty-somethings with too much time on their hands and with more money than sense. They were likely to be moody with a tendancy to violent outbursts, in particular assaults of a sexual nature.
In a further survey the owners of the Maclaren Buggy were said to be six times more likely to be parents with babies, selfishly adding to the population despite rapidly declining natural resources.
We can confidently report that Tim Koelkebeck, together with the entire staff and management of 'Mytype', are six times more likely to be a bunch of mindless wankers.
