Scientists at The Pentagon have developed a shift shifting robot. Watching the video they have put out is amazing.
A square robot, imitating a piece of paper, is able to change its shape from a boat to a plane, origami-style.
This lends itself to many possibilities. Sometime in the not too distant future we may be driving a car to the beach, shape shift it into a boat for a few hours on the ocean or lake then shape shift it again and fly to a place of our choosing.
Shape shifting houses. We may tire of living in a 2-storey house as we age and we'll be able to shape shift it into a bungalow. Exciting invention indeed.
It's a pity this science isn't available for humans to shape shift. I'd certainly like to shift some of my extra weight, but actually I'd like to have the ability to shift it to someone who needs it.
The possibilities are endless.
