Dr. Ivan Pavlov, the Russian physiologist who won the Nobel Prize in 1904 for his classical conditioning response using dogs, would be pleased to know that this type of conditioning elicited the same type of response with MSNBC propagandist, Chris Matthews and a Irish Wolfhound named "Tingles."
Noting that Matthews said that he got a tingle running up his thigh when listening to Barack Obama, scientists at the Snoop Doggy Dogg Institute at the University of California San Diego, successfully trained Tingles to tingle when watching President Obama read from his TelePrompter on TV.
As most of you recall, the phrase "Pavlov's Dog" is often used to describe someone who merely reacts to a situation, rather than using critical thinking. Ironically, only Matthews could be induced to react this way. Tingles, on the other hand, had to actually see and hear Obama speak before he took a whiz.
