NASA and Jet Propulsion Laboratory scientists have concluded a 50 year study and now say that a moon hole just might be suitable for colonization by humanoids.
President O'Bama has been reviewing the report and his aides say he has some ideas on who should occupy the moon hole first:
Rumor has it his recommendation is to have Looney Lander Captain Dick Cheney piloting the first mission with Moonland Security Chief Michael Cheertoff. Most of the working moonrakers would come from GOP leadership with maintenance and janitorial services being provided by Donald "always in orbit" Rumsfeld and Karl "Moonrover" Rove.
Former President Jimmy Carter offered a completely different ideology by suggesting that Israelis could build settlements in the moon hole instead of East Jerusalem and in the West Bank, thereby easing tensions with Palestinians.
Dr. Steven Hawking provided another totally different concept which has garnered support from many citizens. This idea would have all US politicians along with their appointees and Al-Qauida/Taliban troopers sent in one big launch to the moon hole so taxpayers would no longer need to pay for multi-trillion dollars wars. This would start to reverse the current trend and would initiate an increasing taxpayers' standard of living instead of watching it decrease as taxes are currently used by war mongering politicians for personal profit... from every single tank, bullet and bomb that is manufactured and used on whoever fits the demonizing opportunities best.
