A closely-guarded secret was revealed in a news conference today, when the parents of the as-yet unborn conjoined twins in Shropshire, told the gathered members of the world's Press that they too are conjoined!
Richard and Sally Goebbels, of Shrewsbury, were speaking to about 2 reporters at the St Mary-in-the-Womb Hospital in the town. They said their conjoined twins were the most important thing in their life, and that they would definitely be having it/them.
It's not known how Mr and Mrs Goebbels became conjoined, but neighbours confirm they never see them apart, and that they seem "inseparable".
Mrs Elsie Mittens, 62, the couple's nosey next-door neighbour, said:
"They're never apart. "Joined at the hip!", my 'usband says! Silly bastard!"
And her husband, Trevor, agreed, laughing:
"Aye, they're joined at the hip. Silly bastard, I am."
