Sarah Palin, energy expert and optimist on threatened species has adapted her get tough on the bears philosophy to the Alaskan Inlet Beluga Whale.
Earlier this year Palin refused to allow legislation preventing the use of polo bears in the popular Alaskan sport.
Now she is giving her bootstrap pep talk to the whales: "Stop the singing and the whining, goodness sake. You Belugas are just a bunch of big babies. Give up the eggs! It's the patriotic thing to do. Six hundred, smixhundred in '95 and now holding steady at 375... Gee whiz, maybe the others are just hiding. If my numbers or John Mccains would hold still we'd be pleased as punch."
It seems that Palin should be looking a little closer to home, however, since republicans are a lot more endangered than the bears or the whales.
