Langley VA, July 2008: Edmund Krunt, president and CEO of Smedley Engineering Inc, a small Midwestern engineering company was in town to brief a US government agency on a classified product his company plans to manufacture. The unit allows stealthy transmission of people through walls.

The exact application of the equipment is top secret. However, an educated guess is that of slipping agents into Iranian or North Korean Nuclear development facilities undetected to find out the exact status of their activities. Some problems in the current model of the equipment still exist. REBAR in concrete walls does not lend itself well to inserting humans undetected through walls without doing bodily harm. (Carrying a portable X-Ray machine defeats the whole purpose of the machine.) The Smedley Engineering Inc marketing people claim only a software change is probably required!

Larry Craig Jr. (PHD) a brilliant engineer developed the equipment concept. Larry really understands Quantum Mechanics, Einstein's theories of relativity and can set the clock on his DVD player. As a high school student he read "Moving Through Matter With Buckaroo Banzai" by Dr. Cary I. Sneider, U.C. Berkeley, 1984. Larry then went on to get his undergraduate and PHD degrees in Engineering at Stanford University. Larry has since been promoted to Chief Engineer at Smedley Engineering Inc.

Mr. Krunt later said off the record, that Larry was caught watching Porn on the Internet during lunch instead of playing Bridge like the rest of the engineers. The company Human Relations Manager indicated that this was a termination event at Smedley Engineering Inc. Larry said "I will give you my invention if you don't fire me." The original intended use of his device was to enter undetected the ladies Sauna and Showers at the local YWCA, which were made of Masonry, brick and tile construction (no REBAR).

Both General Dynamics and Raytheon Company are interested in acquiring Smedley Engineering Inc.

The story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
