An unskilled artists impression

Yves Rossy, the pilot who wowed the public with his rocket powered solo flight over Bex, Switzerland has explained how easy it is to achieve the feat.

'Airline companies are trying to make out that what I do is somehow difficult, dangerous or expensive but in reality I just strap a couple of rockets on to my back and jump out of a plane. Even an idiot could do it.'

Yves who claims never to have eaten a Toblerone, thinks there is a conspiracy against the widespread introduction of his invention.

'There is no need for security checks, no waiting in line, no screaming kids, no bad food, no blood clots. I think they are scared. If everyone had one of these, the airlines would soon be out of business. I know Ryanair have been doing some research into using giant catapults but you can see how my idea would eat into their profits.'

A spokesman for BAA said 'Have you seen any luggage lying around here? I seem to have mislaid some.'

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
