Scientists are increasingly concerned about the genuine threat of 'global freezing'.
In the month of April, traditionally known as spring, much of the UK recently saw heavy snowfalls and as a result, many people are now worried that we are about to witness another ice age.
Spokesperson for Deptford University, Dr Gillian 'Sandy' Raydon said 'the ice cap is not melting, I know that for sure because I just got my heating bill and it's gone up again. This global warming thing is just a prank, the type that Noel Edmonds or the late Jeremy Beadle would pull.
'We need to baton down the hatches, turn that central heating up and fell a few more trees for the fire; it's going to be cold.'
