Silicon Valley, California - Apple presents: The Tata Nano iPod people's virtual car. Like iTunes, you will be able to download it directly from the Internet into your iPod. It comes with THX surround sound, giving the user the full sensation of driving a real car while using public transportation, reducing carbon emissions; making it, the most Green car ever, if it actually existed.
It is currently available for iPod users only, due to recent passage of laws in many states prohibiting the use of cell phones while driving.
"It's a technical violation of the law, of course," said Steve Jobs. "But we don't want any of our customers cited for a traffic infraction for simply enjoying our product while using public transportation. We want as much of that money available for us, after all, when we later drop the price."
The Tata Nano iPod people's virtual car will be made available in various colors and come with an affordable sticker price of 99 cents per download with liability insurance only. Uninsured motorist, collision and other options available at an additional charge, of course.
