A new species of banana has been discovered by biologists in Dorset. The bananas have been previously ignored by people as they thought that they could not possibly grow in such northern climates.
The bananas are small and grow in bunches of ten to thirteen. They are providing much added tourist attraction to the county.
This is the second such peculiar biological discovery in the county. Last month English monkeys were discovered gnawing on the power cables in Somerset. These are the most northern species of marmoset and are an important addition to scientific knowledge.
Or so it was thought, until yesterday it was found that the monkeys were in-fact squirrels, whose tail hairs had been shaved.
This had been a massive scam by 'South Eastern Services' in order to make the south of England more interesting. When they were analysed it was discovered that the plastic surgery had been carried out by the German Necro-technician and genetimodificationalist Hans Volf.
It is possible that this is connected to the Welsh Mafia, with whom he has worked on many occasions and also since they have great interest in the profitability of southern tourism.
Whatever the case it is possible, and even probable, that these bananas are yet another fake.
