In a statement today, renowned physicist Stephen Hawking has attributed the trend of global warming to news stories on ugly dog competitions.
Hawking's statement reads "it is absolutely the case that the recent trends of global warming can be attributed the increasing coverage of ugly dog competitions by the news media. I have a graph of this correlation up on The Official Stephen Hawking MySpace blog."
The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change was quick to rebuke Hawking's findings as "an attempt for publicity or Hawking is batshit insane."
This week saw Hawking release first album in thiry-six years, Cyborg Bugaboo, to lukewarm reviews.
The NME is reporting that Stephen Hawking was attempting to draw up interest in the record.
Also, The Guardian says that Stephen Hawking's wheelchair can now receive RSS feeds.
