Following the success of the TV ad campaign, Skoda have decided go go ahead with full production of the car made from sponge cake.
The Skoda Victoria, will feature a two litre battenburg engine and dual over head cams made from specially hardened trifle sponge. The jelly light units and custard-cream filled upholstery are fitted as standard.
Recent crash tests have shown that the car is very pedestrian friendly, with a 30mph collision barely scratching anything at all. The only harm came to a diabetic subject, who suffered a hyperglycemic attack due to sugar syrup used as oil in the engine.
Sales of the new car are expected to be high on the '57 plate, following the National Indoor Baking Championships to be held in August.
