In a desparate bid to aleviate the threat of global warming, the worlds top boffins have devised an ingenious plan that could save us all.
In one of the most radical engineering concepts known to man, nuclear powered refrigerators will be blasted in to space, whereupon they will begin to cool the upper atmosphere.
When questioned as to the feasability of this plan, scientists scoffed at the notion that it wouldn't work.
Hester Heinkelman from NASA commented:
"We have been looking into the prospect of launching fridges into space for years, as we really believe they could make a difference. We are basically looking at the worlds population donating any unwanted fridges they may have, so we can build great big ones. This is guaranteed to work probably."
