The forthcoming release of the Nintendo Wii games console in time for Christmas is expected to cause a lot of upset to Children in the western world, and result in a lot of wet stockings on Christmas morning.
A poll of 100 parents conducted by The Spoof revealed that over 70% had never heard of the Wii. When asked, "If your child asks for a Wii this Christmas, would you give them one?" 56% said they would definitely give this as a present to their child, exclaiming, "It'll be the cheapest Christmas ever".
Nintendo are considering a campaign targeted at children, explaining the necessity of making clear to their parents exactly what a Wii is, and that it most definitely isn't a urine sample.
