He went by other names during his career; Walter Buster Keys, Claude Forget Jr., Walter
Liberace, Lee, The Glitter Man and Mr. Show.
His career straddled four decades. It included concerts, recordings, movies and endorsements. During the 1950’s-1970’s he was the highest-paid entertainer in the world. He lived a life of flamboyant excess, both on and off the stage.
He loved his friends. In his will, he asked to be buried face down so that they could come by and have a cold one with him.
