Moishe Pipick editor in chief for The Onion told Vanity Fair in an interview today:
"If you look at the quality of coruscating satiric humor on The Spoof it's like a parody of fake news itself!"
He said; 'they have some terrific writers and we have hired some recently like David Nelson and they all basically say the same thing -'The best stuff is left on the cutting room floor because their editors should be editing the Reader's Digest or Ladies Home Journal instead of trying to make really creative decisions."
Pipick went on; "It's sad because they have made no impact in the fake news genre despise having loads of contributors because the only requirement to write for Spoof is to be able to pass The Captcha test."
He concluded;"They are also scared shitless of anything that borders on islamic criticism and defamation! -Defamation! -How fcking stupid is that! They must think they are the 60 minutes of fake news or something? AND on top of all that their web paradigm must have been designed by someone born before the internet!"
