I am sure there are better ways of getting to see your kids than dressing up and pretending to be a woman! Personally I see the sub text in this book - he had urges, certain uncontrollable urges to dress as a woman.
Which is fine. Live and let live...but don't say it was for the kids....come on....please, he liked the feel of nylon on his legs, the freedom that a frock gives you, the fantastic rush of adrenalin you get, I mean he got, while walking the streets, wearing panties and a bra....ah, yes......that moment when a stranger compliments you on your hair, your make-up, every man should try it...... I mean, if they need to see their kids that is.
A friend of mine dressed as a dominatrix to fool his ex-wife, he wore a PVC catsuit and a wig, however his plan backfired a lot quicker than Madame Doubtfire's as I rather stupidly did not shave of my beard.
