He should have been topped years ago by the US, UK, or anybody with a sense of decency in their heads. He was a brutal dictator and he killed and butchered at will.
He kept his people brutally under control and was allowed to live the life-style of a multi-billionaire, which he was. The millions he's stashed away in private banks in Switzerland are numerous and his family will always be mega-rich, so the question again; so what?
Those who should have topped him kept quiet for years because Gaddafi was on their payroll; The EU gave him millions for keeping Africans out of Europe. The US, UK, China, etc, kept him warm too because they needed Libyan oil. As for the Lockerbie attack; SSSSHHHH! Don't even mention it.
Yet another one bites the dust who has lived a life that his subordinates couldn't even dream about. Good riddance to the crap, but he could have gone much earlier and he didn't, why? Maybe we should ask MI5 or the CIA, they're sure to know the answer!
